APPAREL

The apparel on this page is not period authentic and not suitable for reenacting.  But if you are a non-reenacting Civil 

War enthusiast, you can find some interesting items which will look great on you!

NON-PERIOD REPLICA KEPI HATS

These Kepi hats have vinyl brims and chin straps, plain chin strap buttons, and feature crossed rifle insignia (which actually wasn't

 adopted until the 1870s by the U.S. Army during the Indian Wars, and were not used during the Civil War).  But they look sharp and 

we have them for a great price, and if you are not a reenactor, who cares if it is not period authentic!  They are available in both wool

and cotton fabrics in sizes medium, large, and extra large (Please note...despite the pictures below, the cotton hats no longer come with 

the Union/Confederate flag stickers on top.  They are plain-topped like the wool hats.  Otherwise they are identical to those displayed in

the pictures below).
